This is a strictly user-maintained list of Labs that have had particularly impressive fast clean Excellent run times. If you have a Lab that has a total of ten 1st and 2nd place Standard or JWW finishes at any AKC level except preferred and also has clean Excellent runs of at least 4.00 yds/sec in Standard and at least 5.00 yds/sec in JWW, it deserves to be on this list, so please add it to the list.

We've ranked these Labs by their Combined Fastest Times, which is simply the average of the YPS for their fastest clean Exc Standard run and their fastest clean Exc JWW run.

These very fast runs are hugely influenced by luck since they use only the two single best runs, one Standard and one JWW. The more often you run, the better chance you have of a single lucky day: the course is generously wheeled and you have a better run than you'll ever come close to again.

Better measures of true speed are average YPS and percentage of dogs defeated, which we began keeping track of for calendar 2007. You'll find this material in our yearly reports going back to 2007. Nevertheless, the single very fast runs listed here may give a snapshot of the limits on what speeds are currently possible for Labs running AKC agility.
